The Good Social Worker was founded by child rights activists Michele Simmons and Natasha Phillips, because they wanted to offer families and children going through child protection proceedings a place to find caring and committed social workers.
Michele experienced the care system with her own family first hand, and as a result of those experiences decided to become a child welfare campaigner. She now assists families around the country going through the family justice system.
Natasha runs Researching Reform, which is a project dedicated to improving policy and legislation affecting children and families.
